I just got driving from St. Louis Mo and I needed a place for food. I was hungry. After checking into my hotel I only saw the usually fast food places and didn't want that. So I drove down main street to find something that looked good and I didn't. So I pull into the lot with all of the fast food places.I saw Billy Sims BBQ. I will give it a tried. Once in I order a pull pork sandwich. Just the correct size and It reminded me of being St. Louis. Nice people working behind the counter, and the food came out fast and it tasted good. If I am in the area again I sure will stop and get some BBQ again instead of going to the fast food places...

Great food for lunch. Green beans, potato salad, and sandwiches are excellent! Faster and better quality food than restaurant next door. Would recommend to friends.

This was my first time to eat at Billy Sims. I was on my way back to OKC from Amarillo and I needed real food, quick. I walked in around 2:15 and there was one pair of folks in the corner. Not surprising for a snowy afternoon. I was greeted somewhat, but wasn't overwhelmed by friendliness. A pulled pork sandwich is my personal test of a BBQ joint, so I ordered and had just enough time to fill up my tea before it was ready. Food 2/5: Pork was dry and unsauced. They don't have okra or fries, which are the sides I expect to have at a good BBQ place. Service 4/5: They were kind, not much more to be said. Ambiance 3/5: Pretty dark, lots of photographs of photographs (turn off the flash, guys!) All that being said, there's not much else between Amarillo and OKC, and I would eat there again, if I had to.

Food is mediocre but in this town you're limited on options so have to take what you can get. Love the fact when we finally decided to eat there, online the hours where open until 9 pm and the sign in front of restaurant says all you can ribs on Tuesday until 9 pm, yet it was 8:30 and the door was locked and looks like the hours on the door were changed to 8:30. Way to operate half-a just like most of the other establishments in this dump!

Mediocre food, apathetic staff and a disgusting bathroom. It gets 2 stars for the toast. Even the BBQ sauce is abysmal.

Was passing through headed back to San Diego. Decided to give it a shot since the only 2 reviews were positive and they were NOT lying. The food was GREAT! I went with The Triple 20 which is a pulled pork sandwich with a slice of provolone and coleslaw and included 1 side which I highly recommend the mac n cheese. I'm not a big bbq fan nor do I care for pork and typically I don't care for items that come with coleslaw on them but I was totally and completely satisfied with my food. Would definitely eat at Billy Sims again just sad we don't have any in California.

On my second trip here, I had smoked turkey and Mac and cheese. The turkey was flavorful and the portion, generous, but the meat was a bit dry. Probably because I came in about 8:15, 45 minutes before closing. Still a tasty though slightly pricey dinner ($14.12 with drink).

Horrible Dry Fatty All you can eat ribs, Tuesday's $12.99. Bad bad bad. One hefty guy was there trying to get his money's worth. A guy came in that knows him and asked, how is it. The guy said barely edible.

Making the change from NorCal to New Jersey, elk city Oklahoma was our overnight stay. Saw that this place had 5 stars so figured why not give it a shot? Probably the best decision ever made ! Everything tasted perfect, the cole slaw was amazing the pork even better the bbq sauce unlike I've ever tasted. Even the bun from the pulled pork sandwich was A M A Z I N G ! I highly recommend anyone passing through to stop here !

Pretty good bbq! I prefer a more smokey sauce, but sauce was still pretty good. The pulled pork was just spot on. Super tender and flavorful. Baked potato salad was delish!! Great prices too!
